Maura Dankert - CFCE Coordinator Maura has lived in Bourne for 24 years with her husband and four children. Her passion for supporting children and families was sparked early on when she worked in child protective services and in residential settings. She sits on the Board of Directors for ConfiKids nonprofit and has volunteered for the Saint Vincent DePaul Society, Birthday Wishes, HAC on Cape Cod, and the Friends of the Bourne Food Pantry. Maura works as the Coordinated Family and Community Engagement Coordinator for the Bourne Public School and as an Early Learning Specialist at the Falmouth Public School’s Parent Child Plus program. Maura enjoys kayaking, hiking, pickleball and ice cream!
Angie - Early Childhood SpecialistAngie lives in Falmouth with her husband and 4 year old Golden Retriever. She is the proud mother of two daughters who both live in the Boston area. Having earned a Bachelor of Education she has remained an enthusiastic early literacy specialist for over 25 years with a passion for helping children learn early skills that develop them into lifelong readers. When she is not hosting a storytime, she is playing pickleball, boating, baking or enjoying her newest venture - golf. |
Jayne - Early Childhood SpecialistMiss Jayne has been doing story times for Bourne For Children for 6 years! She is delighted to be back in person this fall - 2021 and hopes to see some old friends and make some new friends!
Miss Jayne has taught young children from birth through age 6 for many years! Prior to working with Bourne for Children, Miss Jayne was the director of a nursery school and a long time preschool teacher. Her passion has always been to help young children and their families grow and learn together. Miss Jayne lives in Falmouth with her husband, Tom. In her free time you will find her walking along the beach or riding her bike on the many bike paths on Cape Cod! On rainy days, she enjoys knitting, crocheting and reading! Miss Annie lives in Bourne with her wonderful husband, two beautiful daughters and their dog.
She loves working (and playing!)with kids and is thrilled to join the team as a story time teacher for toddlers and preschoolers. Miss Annie has her degree in elementary education and worked as the director of an after school program for 9 years before moving back to the Cape after her second daughter was born. She loves running, going to the beach, and spending time with her family enjoying all of the beauty that Cape Cod has to offer! |
